• Responsible for calculating the daily results and positions from our FX/Fixed Income proprietary trading desk located in Argentina (e.g. calculation of P&L and MtM from products such as DF, NDF, Futures, CDS, Bonds, Repos), creating charts and tables (e.g. P&L and positions tables, available leverage for bonds) and reporting relevant data to the head of the desk, partners and other areas• Worked closely with the trader, discussing strategies currently in use (e.g. Onshore/Offshore Arbitrage, Dollar Spread Future Contract, Long Argentina, Long USD/Short ARS) and rationale behind most trades• Designed and implemented a controlling process that mitigates the differences of P&L between managerial and accounting for offshore cash products, coordinating methodology for calculation of cash products P&L between all desks managerial and products accounting, which provided me a great overview from all areas of the bank, including front, middle and back-office areas• Created several user-friendly automated controlling sheets in Excel/VBA for credit operations
