• Led SIA to implement RC/CA for new fixture design after incurring $57K of scrap over a 2-month period. $170K cost avoidance for the remainder of 2011. • Using LSS methodology I led efforts across supplier quality, optics engineering, and the optical filter supplier to align product requirements and improve product quality. Received recognition award for reducing immediate scrap by ~$15K. Estimated $200K cost avoidance for next procurement cycle.
