In February 2024, I joined the Capital Planning Team at The Transportation, Planning & Analysis (TPA) section of The Philadelphia Department of Streets as a City Planner. Along with our partners, including OTIS and PCPC, we guide the city's transportation capital planning decisions, emphasizing equitable environmental impact. On a part-time basis, I am an ecological restoration practitioner and arborist via Habitat Tree, LLC, a two-person partnership, where we provide consultation, design, planting, and maintenance services to establish thriving native plant and tree communities. I passionately advocate for a better urban environment in Philadelphia through various leadership roles: Founder and contributor to ~6,400 member Philadelphia Urban Planning Policy and Design Facebook Group, Chair of the South Street West Business Association (SSWBA), Leader of the PHS SOSNA Green Tree Tender Team, SOSNA Zoning and Grays Ferry Triangles Committee member, Penn State Extension Master Watershed Steward, participant and former co-chair of the PHS Citywide Tree Tender Leadership Committee and former contributing member of the Community Voices Committee, in furtherance of the recently released Philadelphia Tree Plan.To spread the word to the next generation, I teach an undergraduate urban planning course at Drexel University as an adjunct professor within the College of Arts & Sciences' Department of Biodiversity, Earth & Environmental Sciences (BEES).I was formerly a litigator, licensed to practice law in NJ and PA (retired 2023).
