• Leading a team of network security engineers and operations analysts to deliver enterprise class network security solutions across the global Leidos corporate network• Services and solutions in our area of responsibility include design, deployment, and operations of network segmentation tools (i.e. firewalls), web filtering, intrusion and threat prevention, network tapping, and denial-of-service protection.• The team has successfully led and supported numerous high-profile projects, such as multiple software-defined data center deployments, providing secure connectivity to cloud providers, firewall automation, SSL decryption, and corporate mergers and acquisitions. - Provide network security product selection, design, and implementation for for the enterprise. - Responsibilities span from requirements gathering, analysis of alternatives, detailed design work, systems integration, to operational hand-off. - Technologies include firewalls, network IPS and IDS, web content filtering, network traffic recording, tap infrastructures, and remote access. - Recent projects include selecting and deploying a firewall policy compliance, optimization, and analysis tool, as well as designing and deploying an SSL intercept service.- Past project work on a "greenfield" data center, focused on designing, installing, and integrating next-generation firewalls for a highly-scalable, virtualized data center, while working with remote teams in parallel to turn up services while on-site.

Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the global Enterprise Internet Edge networks as part of the world-wide Internet Engineering team for the Walt Disney Company. Focused on routing and multilayer switching with Cisco equipment. Provided secure, remote access solutions to business units, outside partners, and off-site events using Cisco routers and VPN concentrators. Updated and managed other DMZ services such as DNS and DHCP through Alcatel Lucent’s QIP management application. Maintained and enchanced perimeter security with Cisco FWSM's and Check Point firewalls.

Contractor on ACS/Disney account. Assisted with configuration of QoS in global network. Made numerous network perimeter security adjustments. Provided various types of network related end-user/inter/intra-business support. Completed network asset and configuration documentation projects.

Network engineering and analysis for one of the nation's largest rural ISP's. Assisted in management of DSL aggregation network serving 550k customers across 14 states. Daily duties centered around project management, statistics monitoring, infrastructure planning and growth, equipment configuration and deployment, and equipment evaluation. Also tracked and monitored $6M/year WAN circuit budget.
