Provide leadership, development, evaluation, and expertise in facility management and maintenance of the day-to-day operations for the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) Campus Recreation Department. Oversaw facility management and operations of West Senior Center, Spruce Building, East Senior Center, and other Human Services (HS) Department offices. Managed the department emergency, recovery management, and department safety planning and implementation. Liaison to the emergency, safety, and recovery planning with the city and community partners and oversees staff training related to emergency and recovery planning and safety. Serve as the ESF6 Coordinator (Mass Care) for the Emergency Operations Center.

Goodson Recreation Center

Responsible for the management and supervision of the recreation center operations, customer service, and building maintenance. This included managing and developing staff, the oversight and implementation of programs, and supporting the overall mission and goals of the District. Program supervision included Court Sports, Aquatics, Licensed & Unlicensed Children's Programs, and Concessions. The Goodson Recreation Center is a full-service recreation facility including a gymnasium, child care rooms, multi-purpose rooms, fitness, cardiovascular, aquatic areas, running track, racquetball courts, gymnastic facility, and concessions. This position was responsible for creating a culture that is welcoming and responsive to all guests with a focus on exceptional customer service.
