In my position with the Wells Fargo Securities Middle Office role supporting the Agency Trading Desk. This role involves supporting trading activities that includes Agency bonds (Discount, Floaters, Coupon), Supernational Bonds, Interest Rate Swaps, and Treasury hedge trades. Responsibilities include Daily Profit / Loss Estimate generation and attribution, trade exception resolution, position and trade maintenance, Confirm trades with Brokers, Volcker reporting, and regulatory reporting (Trace Reporting / Trace New Issue Setup. I am responsible for a variety of day to day tasks as well as participate in any system enhancement / disaster recovery testing.

Providing regular daily and ad-hoc support to the investment teams and institutional clients.Develop significant level of expertise of the holdings, terms, and transactions of multiple portfolios to provide intuitive and proactive oversight of these portfolios.Oversight of cash and position reconciliations with the custodian banks to ensure they are completed and outstanding items resolved on a timely basis.Reconcile monthly transactions, valuations, management and performance fee calculations, P&L components, and other activity between Babson Capital and the fund accountant/administrator’s records on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.Verifying accuracy of investor capital balances, NAV allocations, and subscriptions / redemptions on a monthly basis.Respond to numerous ad hoc requests from internal and external clients for additional information.Act as subject matter expert on the funds/portfolios covered.Preparing monthly performance reports for portfolio management using valuations from underlying investments, cash balances, and derivatives valuations. Reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of quarterly, semiannual, and annual financial statements.Working effectively with outsourced third party administrators and internal parties to ensure a high level of service. Raising service issues in an appropriate manner and following up issues to resolution.Performing monthly compliance reporting and highlighting instances in which there may be potential noncompliance with the Funds’ offering memoranda.Performing related duties as assigned.Prepare quarterly/semi-annual/annual Client review books by efficiently and effectively communicating with the Global Business Development Group, and Portfolio Management Teams.
