The project focused on assessing potential large-scale energy storage technologies, which can be used for enhancing system integration of offshore wind. The project supported Vattenfall's goal of enabling fossil-free living within one generation.

During my gap year, I worked on Cadeler's offshore wind turbine installation vessel Wind Osprey. The project at hand was an upgrade of the lifting capacity of the main crane, for it to be ready for the next generation of large offshore wind turbines.
