We have relocated quite a bit throughout my career (9 times!) and have worked with lots of realtors to buy and sell homes. During our recent relocation to the DFW area, we had the pleasure of working with Marcus Lancaster to find and purchase our new home and he was, without a doubt, the most hard-working, honest, energetic, thorough, and overall best realtor we have ever worked with. All realtors show houses but what set Marcus apart is that he helped us evaluate the houses he showed us. He took time to get to know us and our needs and did not hesitate to provide his honest impressions and feedback on the properties being showed. He often played devil's advocate when we expressed interest in a home to ensure we were considering both the positive and negative aspects of the property. It was like we had a family member at our side watching out for us. When we decided to make an offer, Marcus demonstrated considerable negotiation skills to ensure we got the best price possible. This was extremely impressive given the hot seller’s market here where a lot of houses sell above list price. He was always available and we had many conversations late at night and on weekends.
