Primary responsibility is to sustain end user workstation performance, workstation peripherals, and other technical peripherals, and facilitate user requests for IT services and perform these responsibilities in a courteous and urgent manner while performing these tasks a way that is least interruptive for the user needing support. Careful and thorough in support of end users.Perform installations and upgrades and/or troubleshoot performance problems and solve those problems. Provides support predominantly in person but also via remote control / remote access. Preform imaging or workstations for new employees and for existing employees. If workstation issue is unresolvable, image a new computer, rebuild users’ desktops and other features remotely, then deploy and verify user has everything they need to preform work related duties.Projects I have worked on:In charge of redesigning and implementing a total of 8 switch rooms, 27 switches complete overhaul. Remove unnecessary cable and consolidate switches and patch panels. Replaced old 10FT cat5 cables with 1ft patch cables, making troubleshooting switch and patch panels much more efficient. Design and install Security room monitors, with new computer, and two 32in monitors. Ran 2 30Ft HDMI cables and cat5e cable. Installed wall jacks and cleaned all wiring. In charge of completely overhauling IT stock room. Removed all unnecessary equipment, and consolidated all other equipment. Reorganized and cleaned stock room as well as Server room. In charge of keeping up to date stock room log. Rewired all of the IT department computers and System monitors to be clean and neat. Implanted Velcro tape to keep wires neat and for easy removal.In the process of testing new VOIP Phones for possible implantation on entire sales floor.
