Following almost 20 years experience with Rio Tinto in technical, operations and strategic roles I established my own management consultancy, AnalytEx, to support local and international clients in developing and implementing strategic transformational programmes utilising Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement principles and practices.I am currently supporting major clients in Australia, Africa and India in strategic planning, organisational transformation, techno-economic analysis, business improvement, statistical process control and technical governance processes (primarily in the aluminium sector).Having held senior roles in the aluminium sector, including as the head of Rio Tinto Alcan's Pacific Technology Centre, I have provided specialist support to this sector for more than 25 years. In addition, I have led strategic and business improvement initiatives in Copper, Coal, Telecommunications, Oil & Gas and not-for-profit (volunteer).
