• Gather data from different sources and platforms, process and reconcile them using Python scripts, export them into desire formats.• Write Python scripts and VBA macros to automate workflows and generate reports, which guarantees data consistency and accuracy, as well as, shorten the reporting cycle from 3 weeks to 1 week.• Design and create a single source of truth database for financial reporting.• Utilize Python and SQL scripts to ETL and query databases for efficient and reliable analyses.• Provide data solution support to financial projects.• Design and implement new financial procedures and functions with managers and service providers.• Review P&Ls and Balance Sheets on monthly basis, and provide variance reports for CFO.• Prepare summary financial reports for executives regarding sales insight, cost of goods sold comparison, labor cost review, as well as overhead expenses analysis.• Work with CFO to design chart of accounts for more readable and understandable financials.• Recommend procedure changes in order to better fit reporting and supervision purposes. • Work closely with different departments to get accurate data and info for decision-making support. • Use advanced Excel functions, and pivot-table to create ad-hoc reports and perform analyses. • Breakdown and reconcile sales and operation data to improve operations. • Conduct cash flow control and internal money transfer in order to use the company’s cash efficiently.• Instruct junior finance/accounting staff and review his/her work to ensure data and transactions are handled correctly.• Solve AP/AR issues with junior staff in a timely manner.• Make adjusting journal entries to reclassify accounting transactions.• Cooperate with auditors during the audit period professionally.• Prepare books for CPA for tax filling; work with CPA to close the year-end financials.
