Frequently oversee installations of applications, A/V installations and network upgrades. Managed annual department budget of $700k -$850k.Key Achievements:- Successfully lead the implementation of a new wireless solution for the entire district.- Spearheaded the implementation of a successful Google Chromebook 1:1 initiative.- Implemented Google Workspace for EDU which delivered a highly reliable email and collaboration - Lead the successful implementation of ClassLink as a Single-Sign-On solution for the entire district.- Fostered a culture of cyber security awareness as the District Cyber Security Coordinator.- Effectively completed new school construction projects which included implementing 21century classroom technology and networking. Ensured the role as technical project manager in collaboration with 3rd party vendors and contractors.- Facilitated the design and implementation of classroom projectors, interactive technology, and document cameras.- Initiated the purchase of new a VOIP telephone system.- Successfully changed the perception of the Tech Dept. by effectively leading employees in the direction of a customer first method.
