Since 2007, Marcus has been working with the National Film Board of Canada as a member of the dynamic Ontario Studio team and has contributed in the production of over 75 films, including several award winning documentaries, two 3D films, three International Emmy Award winners and Sarah Polley’s critically acclaimed documentary, Stories We Tell. His experience has grown to include workflows in Virtual Reality, 3D/Stereoscopic production, digital and Interactive media.Additionally, Marcus is a partner/producer at Raging Indifference, a Toronto-based production company. In 2012 he co-created and produced two lifestyle television programs; an English auto racing series for Sportsnet and a French series which broadcast in 2013 on TVA sports in Quebec. He has produced a large collection of corporate/commercial videos, including several TV campaigns for clients such as Cadillac, Kubota, Kia, Lexus, Bauer, Toyota, Chevrolet, Flight Centre, Loblaws, Rothmans and Mitsubishi.In 2020 and 2021, Marcus developed the curriculum for workshops and a course which he taught at the University of Toronto. The program covered the basics of filmmaking, including the development of ideas, production processes, and the operation of film and video equipment, specifically tools that are readily available at little-to-no cost. Segments also included exploration into story and content creation for interactive and virtual reality.
