As a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a degree in Geography (GIS), I am thrilled to begin my full-time role as an Operations Technology Specialist at Michels Corporation. Having recently completed a GIS Specialist internship with Michels, I am eager to continue applying and expanding my skills in this new capacity. Concurrently, I remain passionate about cycling, working as a bike mechanic at Compass Bike Lab, where I have been instrumental in maintaining and servicing bicycles. This role builds upon my previous experiences at SHIFT Cyclery and Coffee Bar, where I developed technical expertise and customer service acumen. Alongside my dedication to bicycles, I have contributed to environmental sustainability as a composter at Earthbound Environmental LLC and volunteered as a bike coach for Eau Claire Youth Cycling. Additionally, my academic pursuits included a transformative study abroad experience at the Philipp University of Marburg in Germany, fostering cultural appreciation and expanding my professional horizons. These cumulative experiences have endowed me with a versatile skill set and a holistic perspective, positioning me for success in both academic and professional realms.
