I have consulted for a diverse set of organizations, ranging from a non-profit local women’s shelter consisting of 10 employees to a federal agency that employed (at the time) more than 240,000 employees. I have also consulted on a variety of organizational projects, such as assessing and training work groups on increasing workplace civility, developing and validating employee assessments, creating customized employee engagement surveys, implementing leadership development programs, and providing statistical consultation. My latest work involves the development of a valid measure of civility and demonstrating the impact civility has on both employees and employers in the workplace.From my experiences, I have learned that many organizations have similar problems, but the solutions to those problems are different. That is why I strongly believe in developing customized solutions for organizations based on their unique culture.I received my master’s and doctoral degrees specializing in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Louisiana State University. In addition to my consulting, I am the Director of the Industrial-Organizational Psychology Master of Arts graduate program at Xavier University, which was recently ranked first in the country based on student perceptions. I have over 45 national conference presentations and 18 published articles in several journals, including "Industrial and Organizational Psychology: Perspectives on Science and Practice", "The Psychologist-Manager Journal", the "Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology", "The Industrial-Organizational Psychologist", and "Applied H.R.M. Research".
