At Griffith University, I lead the Wildlife Behaviour & Ecotoxicology research group, focusing on how wildlife adapt to rapid environmental change, particularly in response to emerging threats from synthetic and psychoactive chemical contaminants. With over 15 years of quantitative research experience, including roles in the US and Sweden, I’ve developed innovative methods, such as remote tracking and computer automated approaches, to study wildlife and ecological communities in diverse terrestrial and aquatic environments. My collaborators and I aim to translate complex ecological data into actionable insights that drive effective, science-based environmental protection strategies. What I can offer:♦ Excellence in project design, execution, and field ecology research skills♦ Advanced statistical and spatial data analysis (e.g., Bayesian predictive modeling)♦ Expertise in toxicology and environmental pollution assessment♦ Proficiency in remote tracking and AI technologies (e.g., GPS, acoustic telemetry)♦ Strong data management practicesFeel free to reach out to me at marcus.michelangeli@gmail.com.For more information on my research and teaching, visit www.marcusmichelangeli.com or my Griffith Experts profile.
