As the HR Manager, and department of one, I oversee the HR function at the company. Partnering with leadership to make strategic human resources related decisions that are in line with the company’s mission, guiding principles, and culture. Employee relations, recruitment, compliance, reporting, FMLA administration, policy creation, and benefit design are some but not all items that fall under my responsibility.

As an HR Generalist at The Employer Group I worked hand-in-hand with our clients to provide them with the support and consultation they needed. This included providing best practices and recommendations surrounding employee relations situations, providing guidance on policy creation, conducting webinar training's and orientations, and researching varying employment laws based on the client’s state and ensuring compliance.

As an HR Assistant at The Employer Group my job duties consisted of: assisting with benefit administration, answering employee questions about their benefits, processing unemployment claims, processing new hire paperwork, auditing benefit bills, job postings, recruitment, and providing excellent customer service to clients and employees.

-Completed and Internal I-9 audit and provided assistance for I-9 and E-verify questions.-Assisted with the implementation of an applicant tracking system.-I coordinated a company holiday event for over 150 attendees. -Coordinated a company charity event in which we raised $13,000 for the Relay for Life charity.-Updated Job descriptions for support center positions.
