It took a moment of self-interrogation and honesty with myself to look back and realise something that had been staring at me all along: The fact that the common thread throughout my entire working life has been stories.I'm a storyteller, plain and simple. From my days on radio, to my time in agency with copywriting and (later) strategic capacities, I've always been driven by stories. It's my natural gift. I love discovering them, listening to them, documenting them, immortalising them through both written word and photography, and occasionally, even telling my own. And now, thanks to the amazing people I've worked with, and the knowledge and experience I've been able to acquire along the way, I'm back to my roots: Telling and threading stories that matter. Through my writing and photography, I'm now dedicated to helping create a better world by partnering with different causes, and stakeholders - and, of course, using my Stills by Marcus lens to make an impact in the world around me, one click of the shutter at a time.
