Once again working with Professor Paasha Mahdavi, I am performing analysis on carbon offsets project data originally obtained from the Goldman School of Public Policy's "Voluntary Registry Offsets Database." The analysis is of the missing-ness of contacts for each project, which may be an indicator of fraud.

Provide assistance for undergraduates in probability and statistics. Assist with homework and quiz problems as well as assist a professor with exam creation. Subjects taught currently include probability theory, introductory combinatorics, statistical estimation, and basic Python.

Drafting policy memos, cosponsor blocks, giving tours to constituents of CA-36, taking calls, and other support for the office of Rep. Ted Lieu.

As director of recruitment I helped oversee the recruitment process for Phi Alpha Delta pre-law fraternity. This involved planning and executing various social, professional, and informational events for potential Leaders in Training (LIT). Throughout the Spring 2024 quarter, I took an active role in getting to know the new LIT's to PAD as well as fostering their inclusion in our organization. My responsibilities were in event planning but also in conflict resolution and leadership over the membership committee.

Worked as a student lead at UCSB's campus catering services based out of Ortega dining commons on campus. First hired as a student server, but applied and was hired to be a student lead, which involved increased responsibilities for other student servers and event management/planning.

Worked as a research assistant under Professor Paasha Mahdavi and Denis Lomov, helping gather data for their research on voluntary disclosure of climate related risks to the SEC by private oil and gas companies in the United States. Responsibilities included weekly meetings with other research assistants and Professor Mahdavi and Denis, as well as coding 10-k documents from the oil and gas companies in a software called QDA Miner so that they could be used for textual analysis using NLP models.

Worked as a cashier/server at a mid-end fish restaurant in Redondo Beach, CA. Responsibilities included taking orders, serving orders, waiting customers, and resolving customer complaints and queries. Began employment immediately after graduating high school in 2021 and came back to work for winter and spring breaks from college and again the summer after my first year of undergrad at UCSB.
