I helped lead a church with a gross income of £25,000 through an independent examination in accordance with the Charity Commission’s guideline to review the charity’s internal controls and financial records. I handled large quantities of financial data which I then used to create a portfolio using Excel to make the data more intelligible for the parochial church councils (PCC). With the guidance of my supervisor, I was made to lead and liaise with my team. Through communication and teamwork, we completed the assigned tasks 3 weeks ahead of schedule. Lastly, I provided financial analysis to the church regarding some issues they were dealing with.

What I learned during my time at Morrisons was how to do deal with a variety of customers. This taught me the importance of understanding how much my service impacts the Morrisons as a whole from customer expectation and customer satisfaction to brand image and corporate awareness. Also,thanks to my time at Morrisons I developed essential skills such as teamwork, confidence and communication to be able to meet or exceed the expectations of my colleagues, managers and customers.

During my time volunteering, I assisted the Salvation Army with creating a activity which people could participate in whilst fundraising. During this time i was assigned with the role of looking at the logistical side of the operation because we had a small budget. My team ended up raising £50 for Salvation Army with the idea we came up with. Thanks to this opportunity I learn't many skills and gained more confidence since we had to dress up as superheros and go into a shopping center to attract peoples attentions.
