Digital Domain Architect
CurrentI’m a Digital Domain Architect at the Automobile Association with two years experience in handling cross-functional projects. Prior to this role I was a Technical Lead at the AA for five years on the B2C website. In the Domain Architecture role I have created cloud transitional and target architectures and solution architectures that support web - including rich internet applications - and native applications; I have ensured that the architectures I have created meet the stakeholders functional and non-functional requirements and are inline with the their development plans. I strive to keep the total cost of ownership to an acceptable level and maximise the return on investment; I have done this by promoting reuse where appropriate but also by recommending off the shelf products or redevelopments where the required capabilities do not exist or need to be improved. I have worked closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to define the architecture principles and standards. I also work with project sponsors, UX designers, business analysts and the QA team on a day to day basis ensuring that the end user is at the heart of what we deliver.
