I’m a Digital Domain Architect at The Automobile Association with two years’ experience in handling cross-functional projects. Prior to this role, I was a Technical Lead at the The Automobile Association for five years on their B2C website. In the Domain Architecture role I have created cloud transitional and target architectures and solution architectures that support web and native applications. I’m also the owner of the Identity and Access Management B2C solution architectureI have ensured that the architectures I have created meet the stakeholders’ functional and non-functional requirements and are inline with the their development plans. I strive to keep the total cost of ownership to an acceptable level and maximise the return on investment; I have done this by promoting reuse where appropriate but also by recommending off the shelf products - or development of products - where the required capabilities do not exist or need to be improved. I have worked closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to define the architecture principles and standards. I also work with project sponsors, UX designers, business analysts and the QA team on a day to day basis ensuring that the end user is at the heart of what we deliver.
