Here's a bit more about what I do and who I am...I joined the Shipowners' P&I Club in 2014 as their first in-house actuary to build out our actuarial, analytical and broader risk management capabilities. I joined the board of the Club's management company in 2017 to help drive the Club forward to achieve its goals and ambitions and to ensure that it is fit for the future. In May 2023 I assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer.I started my career in the insurance actuarial team at PwC, which became my home for the next 14 years. I worked on a broad range of audits and consulting projects, mostly for non-life insurers but also for some broader financial services organisations. I had the privilege of spending six years working in the New York City office, a hugely positive experience which has shaped my life both personally and professionally.Outside of work I am an avid runner and a keen golfer. I am also very passionate about wine and am working hard to compose a cellar of fine wines that will keep me in good stead for many years to come.
