Rail: Led a team of 14 to deliver an assessment into the overheads of train operating company and build an accurate visualization of the key business drivers across 7 areas from financial performance to safety. Designed a project to cut costs by 3.8% in year. Retail: Reduced costs and improved availability to compete with discounters. I trained and mentored 7 store team leaders to refine, trail and roll out improvements across 38 stores. Delivered 2 year high in availability and halved customer waiting over an 8-week period.Working closely with the client laid out a distribution centre to allow for stable packing, product safety and coherent pallets for the stores to process. Saw 50% reduction in mixed pallets, worth £2.3M per annum.Healthcare: Working across 4 private treat centres to increase revenue through greater capacity. Improvements to the booking process and operational procedures created additional £3M per year. Rail: Reduced overheads in Train Operating Company. Led a self-funded programme that realised savings in year against budget of £500k over 6 months. Defence: Mapping operational usage and refit requirements of equipment sub-assemblies we built a programme of work to deliver the items in time. 12 months later 83% reduction of stock held awaiting overhaul and 64% increase of repaired with 2/3 reduction in supply time of spare parts.Defence: Designed and implemented an e-to-e design change process. Reduction of administration by 59%, robust governance, revised design templates, refined estimating and clearly structured design reviews. Trarined over 200 people across 4 large sites. Healthcare: Reducing the length of stay generated a surplus of 65 beds, realised as the closure of one obsolete ward (£1M saving pa) and an additional 40 beds, and met A&E targets over the of winter 2013.

Line manage team of 40 and advise CEO on personnel, infrastructure and logistic support for Wessex Region containing 57 regular departments, 11 major and 80 minor sites, 21000 military personnel, 2000 technical buildings and 8000 houses.

Principal staff officer in joint military and UK civilian planning team with responsibilities for long term financial planning, operational plan and command directives. Lead briefer for senior officers and other external agencies.

Responsible for the leadership, administration and training of over 100 soldiers including combat troops, logistic operators, communications experts, mechanics and chefs. Accountable for a fleet of 35 specialist vehicles worth over £150M including management checks, maintenance and operator training. In a demanding high risk environment formed strong working relationships with Multinational Army, Police and civil officials, leading to a number of successful multination operations. Conceived and delivered 2 consecutive self-contained training exercises including international transportation by road, rail and air of over 100 soldiers and vehicles. Liaised directly with local military, medical and other civil agencies.Implemented a unit move from Germany to the UK whilst concurrently planning 3 overseas deployments to be delivered consecutively over 5 months.

Responsible for governance to equipment procurement and contracted support programmes. Delivered governance and provided advice to 8 project teams with a combined programme budget of in excess of £1BnFocus on logistic support solutions and general programme management.
