As a part of the Sony European Graduate Programme I worked at Sony Mobile Communications in Lund.During the trainee I worked at different departments of the software development to get an insight in the work on Sony Mobile. During the trainee period I worked with three different software teams within Sony Mobile, Text Input, Lockscreen and the Organizer team. During these assignments I have learnt to quickly catch up with new working methods and getting acquainted with a new code base at a fast pace.Programming Android apps in Java, xml and test systems in Python.Also a big part of the work on Sony is based on scrum so the trainee gave very good insight in the different approaches teams can take on scrum.

The EMC department of SONY Mobile Communications was sold to Tech Mahindra in 2013. With this purchase my position at SONY was tranferred to Tech Mahindra. The tasks are the same as on SONY, EMC, ESD and RSE testing, with the difference that on Tech Mahindra testing is done on products from SONY as well as from other vendors.
