As Architects, we utilize our skill-sets to build relationships. We collaborate with team members, consultants and clients, all while maintaining the technical expertise necessary to create spaces that enhance our experience of the built world. My leadership role as an Architect has benefited from the experience of two roles in both design and management. As a Design Principal, I actively contributed in the broader design direction and team leadership, building on my background in art, a previous focus on high-performance façades and a commitment to cooperatively engaging multiple disciplines. As Studio Principal, I was engaged in studio management, profit generation, networking, development of financial strategies, and the acquisition of new projects. Building strong relationships has been the key to my success as a leader, and I look forward to making an impact in my new role with Abel Design Group, a Goree Company.
