I like simplicity, creativity, and building big difficult things. Mostly in Food & Energy.I dislike how hard it is to combine theseGrowUp sells Unbeleafable vertically farmed salad in Tesco, Sainsburys, Co-Op, Lidl, Spar, and Iceland. Tastes amazing, category-leading performance, all grown at the £100m Pepperness farm in Kent. Revolutionary energy efficiency means everyday prices. A wonderful team of 120 creating the future. It’s not exactly rocket science.Estover built bioenergy power stations that give food & pharma factories cheap low-carbon energy. £375m of institutional investment, 75MW of CHP plants, saves £millions for customers, cuts >100,000 tonnes of CO2/year, created 285 jobs. It’s not exactly tree surgery. I founded & co-led Estover, which sold its last asset in October 2024. We bought GrowUp Farms in 2018, raising £100m, building the Pepperness farm, and launching Unbeleafable in retailers that cover 60% of the UK market. I led GrowUp for 6 years and handed over as CEO in November 2024.
