I have worked in the law in Wellington, London and Tauranga for over thirty years. I grew up on a farm east of Te Puke and have an affinity for the land, agribusiness, horticulture and land-based businesses. I have particular expertise in the kiwifruit industry and act for kiwifruit growers, post-harvest operators and other industry players. I also grow kiwifruit on an orchard in the Te Puke area. I understand first-hand the difficulties families face in passing on farms and property to the next generation and enjoy helping a family reach a point where they are in a position to plan and set up structures for the future.I also have particular expertise in contract law, company law, the aged care sector (including retirement villages), and complex property and business transactions.I enjoy working with and supporting entrepreneurs and innovators particularly those that are starting on their journey and are younger than I am . I like to think my greying hair has some uses. I am a member of Enterprise Angels and a board member of Stand Tall Community Trust.I also have a history of community involvement over the years in various organisations.
