Responsible for managing the Outside Machine, Pump, Valve, AC&R, and Machining Shop to support the project management teams and MARMC sailors onboard DDG, LHD, LPD, CVN, and CG Class Naval Ships. Supervises all areas of day-to-day operations, including planning, work priority, material support, productivity, and scheduling for ships in Availabilities.Attends daily production meeting, communicating status and other needed information concerning repairs with ship representatives and Project Managers. Coordinates with the management of other shops and codes when needing their support while executing the repairs, installations and testing.Responsible for ensuring all Quality Assurance aspects of the JFMM are adhered to during maintenance, testing and restoration of repaired equipment/systems. In depth knowledge of Formal Work Procedures and Controlled Work Packages including the Formal Audit and Surveillance Program. Maintains a history of lessons learned and implements changes to prevent recurring issues.

Responsible for scheduling and supervising 34 sailors in the accomplishment of weekly work center preventative maintenance tasks conducted on over 300 individual components.Ensured documentation of any noted material deficiencies in the work center and informed Division Officer of repair capabilities.
