WEconnect is a startup building mobile and web apps transforming the addiction recovery industry. At WEconnect, I lead a team of product managers and designers in shaping product strategy, roadmaps and backlogs. For four years at INRIX, I led mobile SDK and app development. As Sr. Technical Program Manager and Agile Product Owner, I owned roadmaps, pulled insights from analytics and led iOS/Android/JavaScript teams in weekly sprints. While I loved getting my hands dirty with Jira, RESTful APIs, JSON, MixPanel, SumoLogic, Charles, etc., I most enjoyed identifying and cultivating new scenarios and driving them into a product launch. While there, I improved our consumer app ratings to an all-time high (4.6), reduced crashes to an all-time low, and introduced SDK features that enabled new $1M+ markets and dramatically increased data mining opportunities.Prior to INRIX, I enjoyed 10+ years as an engineering dev manager, program manager, and strategic alliance manager for Hewlett-Packard. For several of those years I was embedded at Microsoft.While I have expertise in hardware / software project and program management, I am best known for eliminating roadblocks, technical evangelism and influencing all levels of organizations both inside and outside the company. Creativity, tenacity, and technical expertise allowed me to drive resolution of multiple $1M+ problems for multiple $100M-$500M products. I am an adjunct professor at the University of Washington's school of business teaching Operations Management (i.e., statistical process control, supply chains, lean, kaizen, project management, capacity, forecasting, ...). My ability to explain the difficult combined with my natural love of storytelling has won me praise in the academic arena. However, I use those same skills and passion to help close major sales deals as well as to bridge and connect as a technical leader.
