Warriors & Quiet Waters, Southern Chapter (WQWSC) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization who's mission is to provide traumatically injured U.S. servicemen and women from Iraq and Afghanistan with a high quality restorative program, utilizing the therapeutic experience of fishing on the Gulf of Mexico, and adjacent in-land waters.My role as the Operations Chair includes the overall responsibility of organizing events, recruiting and leading volunteers, spear-heading traditional and social media efforts, creating and maintaining the operations budget, participating in related community events and speaking engagements and pursuing sponsors for the Warrior fishing expeditions.
