Marcy Reed is respected across the energy industry as a credible voice with extensive experience over three decades at a regulated utility. She served as president of National Grid in Massachusetts, a subsidiary of one of America’s largest energy holding companies until March 2021. Under her leadership, National Grid in Massachusetts delivered a record improvement in shareholder returns for the electric and gas distribution businesses while enhancing customer satisfaction. Before becoming president in 2011, Marcy held roles in Finance, Corporate Affairs, and Customer Relations in Boston and London. She has a reputation for fostering strong relationships and communicating effectively with all stakeholders to achieve strategic goals. She is known for her ability to develop leaders and inspire employees. Marcy serves on the Board of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts where she chairs the Audit Committee.
