Marco has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, specializing in design, development, and management of luxury hotel, retail, wellness, and F&B projects. He is a Harvard GSD graduate with a strong background in real estate development and design. He is also fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, which enables him to work effectively with diverse teams and partners across the globe.As the Director of Design & Project Development at Belmond, a global leader in luxury hospitality and part of the LVMH group, he oversaw the full cycle of project development for major capital projects across the Americas. He delivered high-quality and innovative solutions for iconic properties such as The Belmond Cap Juluca Resort in Anguilla, the Belmond El Encanto in Santa Barbara, the Belmond Maroma Resort & Spa in Mexico, and the Belmond Copacabana Palace in Brazil. He also provides board advisory services and project owner representation, ensuring alignment of vision, budget, and quality. Marco is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences and enhancing the value of hospitality assets.Marco is a former collegiate soccer player and a single-engine airplane pilot. He still holds a motorcycle road racing license.
