Manage the Production Department for the Central and Southern Division and work closely with the Division President, Director of Construction, Project Managers and Production Coordinators to reduce cycle time. • Review sales contracts for overall accuracy and completeness • Responsible for securing the timely preparation and submission of building permits through various municipalities based on deadlines from construction• Monitor the status of submitted permits and resolve any issues with the applications to ensure permits are approved on time • Prepare and update reports to present weekly to the Division President, VP of Finance, Sales Manager, and Project Managers to assist in projecting anticipated starts based on permit cycle time• Develop budgets for new communities as well as inform accounting of changes in permit fees, utility connection fees and other municipality fees• Prepare and submit timely check requests for permitting, metro, HOA, re-inspection, water connection, and TCO fees• Accurately code and submit invoices to accounting for plot plans and foundation plans• Serve as the designated division contact for permit or other issues • Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with municipality departments and staff members• Maintain Architectural Review Committee (ARC) and Homeowner Association (HOA) approvals for new home construction• Coordinate with the consultants (architect, engineering, soils etc.) for a timely and complete building plan package submission• Submit lateral applications to IREA and Xcel • Support the Construction Department, Architecture Department and Land Department by performing administrative duties as requested
