My diverse experience working within government agencies, schools, fitness industry, and healthcare have given me a variety of communication and office skills.I have many years in Customer Care, starting with temporary-entry-level Office Assistant jobs right out of high school and respectfully worked my way up to an Administrative Assistant 4, reporting directly to the state agency Director.Because of my passion for health and fitness, I attained my Les Mills BodyPump, American Council on Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer, and ACE Health Coach certifications to start my journey in helping others find their passion. Orangetheory Fitness Coach In-Training

Cape Coral, Florida, United States

I'm thankful for the education and the opportunity; however, it didn't come to fruition. I had applied for a position that was advertised for my local OTF; however, it was disclosed after the week-long training that they only had studio openings 40-60 minutes away. I continued with some intermittent, hands-on training at my local studio, but eventually my status got put on "pause" because the long drive where they wanted me was not feasible for a part-time "fun" job.*Learn the "Orange Eye" perspective and delivery of scientifically pre-designed workouts for up to 24 members per session.*The Fitness Coach position requires a strong ability to coach and manage time, plus motivate multiple clients in a group setting.*An OTF Coach must focus on a well-rounded theory of fitness, including endurance, strength, and power, using the tools given to optimize the clients' experience and results.

Case Manager And Rehab Technician

Experience Health And Wellness Center

Cape Coral, Florida, United States

Unfortunately, the position I was hired for was more sales-focused than the hands-on position I was originally presented; had I known, I would have stayed in my previous position to work toward advancement in the school system. As much as the Core Values highly align with my personal values, it wasn't a good fit for either of us because of the sales focus.I thoroughly enjoyed the office environment and supporting the chiropractors, who are upper cervical and central nervous system focused, while also focusing on whole body wellness in a holistic and natural way. Therapies included Atlas adjustments, Neuropathy protocols, Laser Therapy, and Softwave Tissue Regenerative Therapy (TRT).*Conduct intake interviews with new patients/practice members to get to the root of their issues to know how to help them.* "Shadow" many Consultation Appointments for various protocols to learn the scripted verbiage.*Instruct the "Baby Bootcamp" program, guiding our passionate, late-term mamas through some exercises to help induce labor and to help make labor easier on their bodies.*Guide pregnant mamas with my Health Coaching and Motivational Interviewing skills to help them make the best birthing decisions for their desired outcomes.*Assist with a variety of paperwork and documentation.*Schedule upcoming patient appointments into Platinum EHS Calendar.*Scan paper documents into Adobe and attach the Adobe documents to the members' Platinum EHS files.*Perform opening and closing procedures: turn on/off equipment (x-ray machine, laser therapy machine, Soundwave therapy machine, and computers), log in/out of all computer programs in each patient room, start PowerPoint presentation in the lobby, start the uplifting music playlist for our whole-office sound system, check/restock water in the cooler, empty garbage in lobby and each room, replace dirty/clean gowns in patient rooms, etc.
