I have a love of travel that is fueled by my desire to connect with and learn from others; to gain perspective and in turn, to become a more empathetic member of our global community. This is why I pursued an MA degree through Middlebury Language Schools' program in Paris and now work with a number of national and international nonprofits who seek to positively impact the world we live in. The challenge of completing a MA degree and thesis in a foreign university system drove me to reach new highs both academically and with regard to my career goals. The world has become increasingly accessible and as a global citizen I aspire to make a broad impact, which is why I jumped at the opportunity, upon completing my Masters, to work with a nonprofit such as TSNE. TSNE offers a huge range of resources to smaller nonprofits in an effort to support them in achieving their missions. I'm fluent in French, which, combined with my experience at TSNE, Yaymaker (formerly called Paint Nite) and my teaching position in Normandy, has taught me great interpersonal skills, humility, and gave me an innate ability to adapt, pivot, and empathize. I thrive in spaces that foster innovation and creative thinking, and am always open to learning new and better ways of doing things; I never shy away from a challenge and will always be willing to ask a question. I'm all about teamwork and coordinating for a common goal, and will always be willing to offer support.When I'm not working, I'm either traveling the world physically or through whatever is next up on my Goodreads list!
