I am driven by a passion for health, highlighting opportunities for young people and for people of non-traditional age to enter health course. I have transitioned from a teaching-research position to a research and publication role to better highlight developing opportunities for pharmacists.I have worked with Allied Health and medical colleagues throughout my career developing training and support for allied health supervisors of placement students and currently working on a research project exploring placement supervision across Allied health with assessment of common competencies such as infection control, practising legally and ethically and communicating with patient and practitioners across the multidisciplinary team. I am advocating for the implementation of skills in digital health and telehealth and have been building the skills of pharmacy students in this area for the last three years, collaboratively with colleagues.I also have expertise in workplace learning (placement or practicum) from three perspectives: an academic one; as a supervisor and for the student on WPL. In addition with a co-author, I have developed two concepts: Slow Innovation in Workplace Learning, and Curation of Workplace activities and initiatives. In addition, I am interested in ethics and the development of professionalism in students and graduates across their career.
