Since building my first game level some 18 years ago, I've been hooked on the thrill of working on teams of talented people, creating interactive worlds that users can step into and fall in love with.In that time, I've:• Built levels, becoming especially adept at finalizing them to a shippable standard by polishing assets, materials, setting up lighting. • Mentored newcomers, teaching them how to use Max, PShop, the game engine and other house tools.• Helped several incubation teams bring new game ideas to life with concept work, GUI design and narrative ideas.• Concepted and directed trailers, from storyboard to editing and sound design.• Art directed several projects ranging from tablet games to AAA console games.Making things beautiful is a given - what matters most to me is that art follows the principle of total design: every element is coherent and focused on supporting the moment and the overall experience.
