During my fall semester as a graduate student, I was given the opportunity to assist students in the laboratory exercises for the introductory engineering course, ENGS 115. I was responsible for answering student questions, promoting a learning environment and helping freshmen students spark an interest in Chemical Engineering.During my spring semester, I worked alongside the same professor as before and provided help in a different manner. I graded quizzes taken by students in the engineering class, ENGS 116 - Engineering Computation. By doing so, I lessened the workload given to my professor. This class was a fundamental freshman engineering course in that students learn the fundamental techniques in Microsoft Excel and basic modeling in Visual Basic for Applications.
