As weBounty's first engineer, I've enjoyed applying all my past experience to a blank slate. This was not only a great opportunity technically, but also personally. I've relearned web development and since built weBounty on Python3, Django, and a number of open-source libraries. In the process, I've been documenting the steps as well as the logic to them. I feel I'm not just developing a platform, but a technique to doing it.As a Cofounder, I'm also very closely involved with the evolution of the product and the company as a whole. That has involved a lot of discussion and presenting to people who ranged from potential investors to prospective employees. Even between Cofounders, there are times we struggle to find the common ground, but the toughest conversations have been some of the most rewarding. It's really pushed me to be the best, most professionally awesome version of myself I can be.

I have many fond memories from my time at Course Hero, but my greatest take-away has been the friends I made. They are a great group of people and I'm happy to still be hanging out with many of them. Over the years, the team helped me develop my inter-personal skills, my professional career, and my self-confidence. I have them to thank for a lot.During my time as a software engineer at Course Hero, I had a hand in most products, did a lot of reading, and a lot more writing. Probably >40k lines of PHP, SQL, HTML, Javascript... but who's counting? I also deleted a lot of code, too! I'm pretty proud of that. It gives me a unique feeling of zen to weed out a repo. Also integrated with third-party services, most notably with ExactTarget (now Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and the Google Search Appliance (yellow box of mystery). As the team grew, I became the technical lead of the crowd-sourced questions and answers platform.

Centralized data across game and web servers to build tools for profiling users, analyzing statistics, and targeting services. Designed automated reports for marketing and upper-management. Worked on back-end integration with a skilled engineering team to launch three games. Interviewed candidates for DBA and Back-end Developers.
