During college I brought on as a AV technician responsible for the setup and operation of sound system for various live events, including and not limited to concerts, graduations, press/corporate events.In 2022 I was given the opportunity to take on the rental operations of company. As this was a part of the business which suffered during the pandemic I was tasked with doing a market analysis and streamlining operations. With this initiative I reworked processes and implemented an inventory management to prevent overbooking equipment. Alongside this I implemented an online booking system which allowed customers to either book common equipment and packages online. I played a pivotal role in handling the majority of daily rental operations, alongside my responsibilities as an event technician. Additionally, I managed the company's social media presence, website, and eBay pages.Starting November 2023 I returned to being a contract live event technician after taking on a new day-time position.

This role involved a variety of responsibilities including organizing the student Broadcasting Club and ensuring the success of sophisticated sports live streams by effectively communicating and delegating tasks in a fast-paced production environment. Filming and editing videos posted to the school's youtube channel and social media with the media team. Maintaining and operating audio-visual equipment throughout the district, primarily audio and live-streaming. Assisting students and educators in the operation of the radio and TV studios at the high school. This was all accomplished while also being a full-time student.

As a student worker, I was brought in order to handle AV needs for the Berlin Board of Education, which involved both operating audio and live streaming systems. These meetings initially occurred throughout the school district requiring the efficient use of district resources in order to set up temporary mobile sound & live-streaming solutions. Later in this role, I also took on the responsibility of the primary auditorium technician at the high school operating sound/lights for assemblies, concerts, and events.

In this position, I worked with a small team of student workers under the light supervision of the district IT department. We were responsible for ensuring that all 5000+ one-to-one and classroom devices were prepared for the upcoming school year. This included commissioning new devices, decommissioning and recycling old devices, performing software updates, integrating new technology inside the classroom, and upgrading and maintaining computer labs.
