As Director at the macroeconomic consultancy boutique founded in 2006, I had direct responsibility for the business development, marketing and sales of country risk and macro risk monitoring and assessment services for emerging and frontier markets, managing a portfolio of about a dozen clients from the development finance industry and official sector.As an independent Senior Policy Advisor, I led technical assistance, assessment, and training projects aimed at modernization of transparency and communications frameworks at central banks across Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Caucasus and Central Asia. Developed communications policies, formulated medium-term communication strategies, trained both staff and senior management members, and advised top policymakers including governors on embracing international best practices for central bank transparency and communications — as part of nearly three dozen technical assistance and capacity building projects orchestrated in low-to-middle income developing countries by international financial institutions such as the IMF and the EBRD.

Responsible for overall external relations of the Bank - with the key stakeholders both at home and abroad, and serving as the Secretary to the Bank Board. Reporting directly to the 7-member decision-making body of the central bank and working on a day-to-day basis with the Governor. Managing four divisions within the General Secretariat department: Bank Board Secretariat, Communications, Legal Services, and the European Union and International Organizations Division. Managing about 45 staff members in the four divisions.* Leading a complete redesign of the Bank-wide intranet, using internal campaigns and polls to drum up support for the overhaul of the aging platform among the conservative user base at the Bank.* Managing Events & Protocol, supervising directly high-level visits, external events and conferences held at the Bank.

Managed overall external and internal communications, with direct report to the seven-member governing Bank Board. Advised two successive Governors on strategic communications issues, tapping a network of contacts in global central banking community to embrace global best-in-class practices. With a permanent seat in weekly board meetings, regularly provided communications advise on board decisions. Developed communications for Governor and other board members. Managed staff of 12 direct reports.- Spearheaded a number of projects to boost awareness of the Bank’s role in the economy and reinforce its reputation, culminating in an image-building campaign "20 let chráníme českou korunu" (“For 20 years, we have been the guardians of the Czech crown - www.chranimekorunu.cz) executed successfully in 2013 within a constrained budget.- Led the creation of vivid online and social media content (web microsites, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook) and devised new communications tools such as trend-setting web and mobile applications on banknotes as well as a policymakers’ blog.

Led a small in-house research unit that consistently scanned the market for business opportunities, identified executive talent and maintained contact with senior managers seeking to advance their careers.
