I taught middle school English and dance for five years after graduating from Southern Utah University in 2002. I took leave of my job in 2007 after having my first child. At that time, I chose to become a full-time homemaker, with occasional small side jobs in my field of expertise. In 2017, I connected with the company VIPKID, based in Beijing, as an online English instructor to children in China. I have maintained my Secondary Teaching license in English, Dance, and ESL since first receiving it. My commitment to family and home remains my top priority and achievement. I have taken part in countless volunteer experiences throughout the years ranging from international to local. Feel free to ask me about them any time! Currently, I am part owner of a residential home cleaning business called Bright at Home Cleaning, which started in 2020 and services mostly the east side of Collin County, Texas. I also occasionally substitute teach at my children's schools. I am pursuing my master's degree in school counseling, which is an exciting journey.
