An experienced strategic advisor in the political-administrative field and in public affairs, Marene Elgershuizen holds a Research Master's degree in Modern History and International Relations. Having expertise on the political persona and public image, Marene brings guidance and coaching of professionals in their public presentation and positioning. From the local to the international field, her recent projects brought her to The Hague, Brussels and Iraq. In her work, she brings expertise in the fields of Feminist Foreign Policy (WO=MEN, Dutch Gender Platform), Internal Corporate Social Responsibility (IMVO), ethical leadership and employment practices, geopolitics, critical raw materials and value chains. Marene has always been active in several NGO's concerning women's-, LGBTI-, and labour rights. In addition, she is an experienced member of several Supervisory and Advisory Boards like the Netherlands International Cooperation Collection (NICC) and the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy. Marene was PES Europe delegate for the Dutch Labour Party. For the Foundation for European Progressive Studies in Brussels she took part in its Young Academics Network, researching European Progressive Geopolitics, Trade Relations and Ethical Foreign Policy.Before, Marene graduated in 2013 in Classical Voice (Excellenceprogramme) at the Prince Claus Conservatoire. In 2015 Marene finished her Master at the Conservatoire of Amsterdam, while studying in Germany with KS Gabriele Schnaut.
