Great to connect, for those that don't know me already my name is Peter Martin a trainer and consultant with over a decade of experience. My main topics include health and safety, business, digital, major incidents/emergencies and faith including chaplaincy.My backgroundI first started my own family business back in 2013 purely offering training in IT, digital skills, first aid, health and safety and other business related subjects. Clients began asking for services to help them in areas we were training in so we began implementing software, building websites, providing first aid cover at events to some of these clients. We enjoyed providing results for them and wanted to develop this further, however, the business was obviously no longer a training company and was now providing unrelated services so we eventually created the Marfam Group which became the management group for Marfam Digital Group and Marfam Safety Group to split the services into their own company.I am pleased with how the businesses have grown, we have an amazing team doing the day to day running while I continue to do what I love which is helping people succeed - the same mission we have had since day 1 of the training company, just now we do that in more ways across different companies. I really enjoy no two days are the same, sometimes you will find me dressed in green operating as a medic, others delivering training, or on a client site completing a health and safety audit while others I will be consulting on how best to use digital. When I am not doing all of that I love supporting my local community and sit on different committees and boards to make a positive change in the community.
