I created Pilbara Site Pics in mid 2009 with the aim to "make photography my career".From very humble beginnings, the business has evolved to cover all range of commercial and industry photography needs for clients both local and international, plus gather a few awards along the way. ABC RADIO:Present Saturday Sports breakfast show highlighting sports and events across the Pilbara.Weekday breakfast January 2007- August 2007. Produce and present the weekday breakfast show with light stories, information and news for a diverse North West audience. I continued to work casual with ABC Northwest which fits in perfectly with my busy schedule with Pilbara site Pics and satisfies my love of radio - and the ABC, however, sadly, this was brought to an end after I was elected to the role of Councillor with the City of Karratha.

I signed with the Harry M Miller Group in June 1999 after writing two books on finance and being approached by Foxtel to present a Finance Show.The fabulous team at HMM then secured lengthy contracts at Pacific Publications for almost 5 years as Columnist for New Idea Magazine as home finance expert; 3 years with Channel 10 with Bert Newton as finance presenter on Good Morning Australia; various guest presenter pieces to camera with Today Tonight, A Current Affair, The Midday Show and many columns and guest contributor assignments in magazines and newspapers and radio segments across the country.Regular guest on Radio 2UE, 2GB, 3AK, 6PR and ABC radio nationally on finance and home finance issues.Another book on home finance was written and published then the HMM group was instrumental in securing speaking engagements on the Speakers' Circuit and I was in demand across the country for business training sessions as MC and keynote speaker, MC events nationally.Last year Harry M Miller Group and I celebrated 10 years so I flew to Sydney from Karratha to spend some very special time with Harry and Lauren Miller-Cilento.

Writer and photographer for Who's Who of the Pilbara; an innovative newspaper style advertorial collection of Pilbara businesses.My role was to contact each client, liase for interview write the story of their business and shoot pics to go with articles.Shots had to be bright vibrant, colourful and all different to add value to the client.Copy to strict guidelines and style.A contract with a tight deadline and briefing all delivered.

Pilbara news is a subsidiary newspaper of The West Australian - WA Newspapers - based in Karratha. As senior Journalist resposible for sourcing news items, interview, research and shoot pics for weekly newspaper covering the Pilbara towns from Karratha to Tom Price.Cover news articles from hard news to social pages and sport. Plan page layout and story selection, arrange picture style and shoot.Mentour cadet journalists.I left the Senior Journo role to return to Freelance work as Photo Journalist and still write and shoot pictures for the West Australian Newspaper as their Pilbara correspondent.
