Marga's Lil Cakes began as an idea and became a reality once I had a kitchen large enough to accommodate all of my kitchen gadgets. I've been baking since I was old enough (and tall enough) to work an oven, so there is a LOT of experience behind me in the Baking School of Life.​My love for baking cupcakes spiked an all-time high when I was pregnant with with my youngest son.  Nothing satisfied my cravings more than cupcakes. So I started baking new flavors of cupcakes every week until I found my favorite recipes.  At one point, a friend asked me to cater cupcakes for her wedding!  I fell in LOVE! Cupcake decorating had instantly become my favorite thing! The picture to the left is one of three cupcake towers I filled for her cake table. It was one of my greatest cupcake accomplishments!    Cupcakes are the perfect combination of my love for art and baking because cupcakes need to be delicious AND beautiful! With the encouragement and support of my friends and family, I decided to take my skills a step further and offer my cupcakes to everyone!  And that is the story of how Marga's Lil Cakes began. I am currently located in Plainfield, IL with my amazing family. Paint with M.E. is a traveling paint party. we paint canvases, glasses, wood, and more! As a previous art teacher, I learned that the beat way to create art is when you're having fun doing it... and that is our goal, to have fun!
