Responsible for planning and executing all aspects of annual giving fundraising with a primary focus on securing student scholarships to provide college preparatory and corporate work experience path changing opportunities for talented students from under resourced communities in East San Jose.

Guided fundraising efforts to secure $2 million for annual operations providing free Counseling, Assistance, Resources, and Support for people impacted by cancer. Exceeded special event revenue targets with annual Garden Party Gala and Golf Tournament. Secured multiple winning proposals for grant and foundation funding. Established a fund development committee to develop and implement strategies for individual donor cultivation.

As the organization's first marketing & communications director, I had the unique opportunity to recruit and guide a creative team of volunteers and staff to raise awareness, participation and financial support of the life-shaping benefits Scouting provides for young people. I led the council's external communications strategy, public and media relations, website and social media presence, and coordination of printed collateral in line with consistent branding.

Guided organization on senior management team, giving leadership to development and fundraising efforts, responsible for $2 million in annnual operating income supporting $5 million operating budget. Key contributions included annual giving campaign, special events, grants and foundation funding, donor & board relations, marketing & public relations.

Chief Operating Officer, responsible for membership growth and program delivery to youth and families in recently expanded 4-county region. Though management of 8 full time executives and 5,000 adult volunteers, our team delivered the life-shaping programs of Scouting to 13,000 youth members annually.

Chief Operating Officer responsible for organizational growth and quality program delivery. By guiding 6 full time executive staff members, 4,000 volunteers and 400 community partners, our team delivered Scouting programs to 10,000 youth members, resulting in consistent membership growth month over month for 4 years. Guided organizational merger growing service territory from one to four counties, and ultimately serving 13,000 youth.
