CurrentPassionate Community Director dedicated to fostering a vibrant and engaged community at The UNITED, a non-profit regional center for arts and arts education in Westerly, Rhode Island, with a mission to "unite the community through the arts". Responsible for ensuring that every member of our community, including Donors, Members, Volunteers and partner non-profits, feels valued, appreciated, and well-supported.Key Responsibilities:Community Engagement and Relationship Building: Develop and execute strategies to nurture relationships with Donors, Members, and Volunteers, fostering a sense of belonging and loyalty to the organization. Initiate regular interactions through various channels to connect and share experiences.Appreciation and Recognition: Design and implement appreciation initiatives to express gratitude to community members for their support and dedication. Collaborate with marketing to create compelling content that highlights their contributions and showcases the impact of their involvement.Communication Management: Manage communication platforms to facilitate transparent and meaningful interactions within the community. Respond promptly to inquiries, feedback, and concerns, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are addressed.Feedback Collection and Analysis: Develop mechanisms for gathering feedback to understand needs, preferences, and areas for improvement. Analyze feedback to enhance community engagement strategies and programs.Event Coordination and Collaboration: Collaborate with the events team to plan, coordinate, and execute community events, workshops, and appreciation ceremonies. Ensure events align with community values and interests, offering valuable experiences and networking opportunities.Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of community engagement metrics, interactions, and feedback. Generate regular reports to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
