As the Vice President of Operations at Community Housing Network (CHN), I'm on a heartfelt mission to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. At CHN, we are committed to providing homes for people in need through proven strategies of homelessness prevention, housing assistance, development of affordable housing, community education, and advocacy.As the Vice President of Operations, my purpose is to uplift the incredible CHN team, the real heroes behind our transformative work. I am committed to ensuring that every member of our organization is empowered to make meaningful contributions that touch the lives of those we serve. Starting as an Executive Assistant in 2012, I've had the privilege of witnessing our organization's growth from every angle. I've walked the path from non-supervisor to Manager, Director, Senior Director, and now, as an Executive. This unique perspective has shaped my understanding and allows me to lead with empathy and wisdom.At the heart of my role, I'm dedicated to fostering operational excellence and nurturing the well-being of our exceptional employees. I embrace the responsibility of leading the creation and implementation of strategic initiatives that drive our mission forward. Alongside my roles as CHN's HIPAA Privacy Officer, Recipient Rights Officer, and Compliance Officer, I'm also entrusted with the management of Human Resources, IT, Quality and Data, and Operations departments.I believe that true advocacy begins with listening. Treating each person with the same level of respect and understanding, I am committed to hearing their stories and understanding their unique needs. In doing so, I hope to contribute to a world where compassion and equality are the foundation of every interaction.
