My name is Margaret Everett. I am currently a student at East Carolina University, I previously studied at Cape Fear Community College in Castle Hayne, NC and received my Associates Degree in May of 2018. I held a job at Brigade Boys and Girls Club in Wilmington, NC and worked as a Program Assistant for 1 year and 3 months. Before I was a staff at Brigade, I volunteered as a Junior Staff for 5 years. Over the years, volunteering allowed me to gain a lot of skills necessary for a job like this, such as patience and assertiveness. Skills that I have gained while pursuing my education pertain to Microsoft Office, Personal finance, data management, and critical thinking. I am working to obtain my Masters in Psychology with a minor in Alcohol and Drug Studies. Careers that interest me pertain to humanitarianism, human services, and ones that will broaden my interpersonal skills and knowledge of the industry.
